Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Black sesame seeds ground
  • 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves ground
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ground black sesame seeds, ground Earl Grey tea leaves, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a spoon.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
