Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together matcha powder and a little bit of milk to make a smooth paste.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the remaining milk, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the matcha paste and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture through a sieve into a bowl to remove any lumps.
  5. Divide the pudding into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
