Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Fish (snapper or tilapia) cleaned and scaled
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Red chili chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Tamarind paste
  • 1 tablespoon Palm sugar
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Fry the fish until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, red chili, fish sauce, tamarind paste, palm sugar, and water.
  4. 4. Pour the sauce mixture into the frying pan and simmer until thickened.
  5. 5. Pour the sauce over the fried fish and serve immediately.
