Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g Rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 300 g Salmon fillet cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Red bell pepper sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Tamarind paste
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts
  • ¼ cup Chopped peanuts
  • 1 Lime cut into wedges
  • ¼ cup Chopped cilantro

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak the rice noodles in warm water for about 10 minutes or until they are soft. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and red bell pepper, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the salmon pieces and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  4. 4. Push the salmon and vegetables to one side of the wok and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until they are fully cooked.
  5. 5. Add the soaked noodles, soy sauce, fish sauce, tamarind paste, and brown sugar to the wok. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  6. 6. Remove from heat and stir in the bean sprouts. Serve the pad thai topped with chopped peanuts, cilantro, and lime wedges on the side.
