Main Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoon Tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 handful Cilantro chopped, for garnish
1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
4. Stir in the tamarind paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
5. Pour in the water and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
6. Add the lime juice and stir well.
7. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
