Ingredients 

Pesto

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 lb pasta

Instructions 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine basil, Parmesan, olive oil, pine nuts, and garlic. Blend until smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until well coated.
