Ingredients 

Bun Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. 2. Add warm water and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Shape each portion into a bun.
  6. 6. Place the buns in a steamer and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Steam the buns for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
