Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 piece Ginger, sliced about 1 inch
  • 2 pieces Kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 pieces Red chili peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup Cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the mushrooms, tomatoes, shrimp, fish sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, kaffir lime leaves, and red chili peppers.
  3. 3. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the shrimp is cooked through.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and discard the ginger and kaffir lime leaves.
  5. 5. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
