Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sticky Rice soaked in water for at least 4 hours
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Ripe Mangoes peeled and sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the sticky rice until the water runs clear. Soak in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Drain the rice and steam it in a steamer for about 20-25 minutes until cooked.
  3. 3. In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Do not boil.
  4. 4. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a mixing bowl and pour half of the coconut milk mixture over it. Stir well and let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the coconut milk.
  5. 5. Serve the sticky rice with sliced mangoes and drizzle the remaining coconut milk mixture on top.
