Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken about 4 pounds
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix garlic, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin.
  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with your favorite sides.
