  • 2 cups Glutinous rice also known as sticky rice
  • 2.5 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the glutinous rice in water until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Drain the soaked rice and transfer it to a steamer lined with cheesecloth.
  4. Steam the rice over boiling water for 20 minutes, or until tender and sticky.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite Thai dishes.
